The Tennessee Titans are members of the Southern Division of the AFC, In the NFL. They were previously known as the Houston Oilers, before relocating the Nashville. As the Oilers, they won their first two AFL Championships, and then joined the NFL as part of the NFL/AFL Merger deal. T-Rac, their mascot is a raccoon-The state animal of Tennessee. He is an energetic mascot and drives around a golf cart often. He collided with Adrian Mchpherson (Saints Quarterback) on accident during a pre-season game. He was released from the Saints and he sued the Titans over the incident.

Fast Fact-For two seasons, the team was known as the Tennessee Oilers before changing its name to Titans in 1999.
Another Fast Fact-After becoming the Tennessee Titans they got a mascot costume. The oilers never had one.
