New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are members of the Eastern Division,  AFC in the NFL. They used to be called the Boston Patriots but changed their name after relocating to Foxborough. (Even though Foxborough is a suburb of Boston.) The "Pats" made it to the playoffs four times before qualifying for a Super Bowl. However, they lost their first two to the Chicago Bears and the Packers. Then they won three in four years. Pat the Minuteman has changed over the years. He used to not have a mascot costume, he was an unmasked-mascot. Eventually he got a full costume-head included.

Claim to Fame-Between 2001 and 2005, the Patriots became the second team in NFL history (Dallas Cowboys were first)  to win three Super Bowls in four years (Super Bowl XXXVI, XXXVIII, and XXXIX), and the eighth to win consecutive Super Bowls.
