Pittsburgh Steelers

Picture
The Pittsburgh Steelers are members of the North Division,  AFC in the NFL.  They are the oldest franchise in the NFL and have won the most Super Bowls out of any team in the NFL. They have won the most AFC Championship games and hosted the most championships. Except for the 1960's the Steelers have made a Super Bowl appearance in every decade. Their main rivals are all from within their region. The Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals. Their official mascot was picked in 2007. His name was picked through a fan-based drawing. The winning name was chosen because "Steely" represents the steel industry, "Mc" represents the owners Irish ancestry, and "Beam" represents the main steel product-steel girders. Steely is at every home game and multiple team functions. He has a full mascot costume, including a head-piece.
